Summer Volunteer Days
Join the Summer volunteer days starting next Saturday, caring for recently planted trees and controlling invasive vegetation. A special day on September 5th celebrates the project's 20th anniversary. Free camping space available for participants (up to two nights). Registration is mandatory via email with full name, tax ID, phone number and date of birth (for insurance purposes).
About the project
Associação Cabeço Santo is a Portuguese environmental NGO dedicated to the ecological restoration of degraded landscapes on the western slopes of Serra do Caramulo, through the removal of invasive species and the reintroduction of native flora. Founded in 2019 and rooted in a project active since 2006, it engages volunteers and local communities in nature conservation and environmental education.
