Across Portugal, people are growing food, restoring land, building with earth, teaching old skills, and shaping more sustainable ways to live. Most of them don't know each other. And most of what they need — an extra pair of hands, a builder, a piece of advice, a buyer for their honey, a place at a workshop — is harder to find than it should be.
Sustainable Living is here to change that. We bring people, projects and practices together in one place, in two languages, so anyone working on a more sustainable Portugal can find each other — and the support they need to keep going.

The night visits to Parque Biológico da Serra da Lousã return this summer with sessions on 4 and 18 July, 1 and 22 August, and 5 September 2026. Visitors can explore the park after dark and observe native wildlife in their natural habitat.
