Open call inviting 5 professional artists based in eligible Creative Europe countries to join a 31-day international artistic research residency (Sept 30 - Oct 30, 2026) in Vale da Lama, Lagos, Portugal, exploring art, ecology, migration, memory, and social imagination. Includes accommodation (camping), food, travel support, mentoring, collective sessions, permaculture sessions, and individual research time. Application deadline July 20, 2026. About the project
Novas Descobertas Association is a non-profit based near Lagos, Algarve, offering year-round educational and regenerative programs that connect people with nature, community, and themselves. Founded in 1994, it operates from Campo do Vale, a living classroom within the Vale da Lama farm.
