Sete Fontes, a 15-hectare off-grid permaculture project in Alentejo, Portugal, is seeking socially engaged, like-minded people to join and co-create a small ecovillage, living as neighbours with private spaces, shared tasks and a common vision for the land. Candidates should be willing to contribute to daily tasks, communicate with maturity and kindness, align with ecological and regenerative values, be financially independent and able to contribute monthly to shared expenses, ideally have rural or practical experience, and be willing to commit to a one-year try-out period.
About the project
Sete Fontes is a 15-hectare off-grid permaculture project near Portalegre, Portugal, founded by Michel Siebenaller and Isabel Valente, now evolving into a small ecovillage. Since 2016 it has hosted volunteers while regenerating land, growing food, and building community.
