Acorn Academy 2026 - 2nd edition
A three-day practical workshop on the harvesting, processing and culinary applications of the acorn, aimed at professionals in food, catering and forest management. It takes place at Freixo do Meio, Alentejo, facilitated by Alfredo Cunhal Sendim and a local team.
About the project
Herdade do Freixo do Meio is a protected agroecological estate in Montemor-o-Novo, Alentejo, combining organic food production, biodiversity conservation, prehistoric archaeology, and community education. Open to visitors and independent projects, it has operated without synthetic chemicals or GMOs for over two decades.
