Walking to Preserve
The Movimento Estrela Viva and ICNF are organising an environmental awareness walk in Vale do Rossim, in the Serra da Estrela, involving the collection of rowan tree seeds and a celebration of the Day of the Native Forest.
About the project
Movimento Estrela Viva is a non-partisan, non-profit citizen movement born after the 2017 wildfires, dedicated to protecting and restoring the natural heritage of Serra da Estrela. It organises reforestation, native seed collection, river preservation and environmental awareness initiatives across the region.
