Discovering the Algarve Reef - Visit and Hands-On Activity
The Centro Ciência Viva do Algarve is running visit sessions to the photographic exhibition on the Parque Natural Marinho do Recife do Algarve, followed by a hands-on activity on marine biodiversity, in Albufeira. Sessions take place on various dates in August, at 11:00 and 15:30, with mandatory and free prior registration from age 6.
About the project
AIMM – Marine Environment Research Association is a Portuguese non-profit NGO founded in 2010 and based in the Algarve, dedicated to the scientific research and conservation of marine species and ecosystems. The organisation conducts field surveys, environmental education programmes, and policy-influencing expeditions focused on cetaceans, turtles, sharks, and other marine megafauna.
