What lives in the dry-farmed orchard? Field trip at Nave do Barão
A guided walk to discover that a dry-farmed orchard is much more than a collection of trees. Along the route, the group observes the relationship between old trees, cavities, vegetation, pollinating insects and other small inhabitants of this rural landscape. A morning of hand-pulling chorão-das-praias (sour fig), an invasive alien species that threatens coastal ecosystems, with sharing of control techniques. Open to adults and families, with free registration and 5 to 20 participants.
