Volunteers are welcome to help assemble the weekly produce baskets at the cooperative, Monday to Thursday from 14:30 to 17:00.
About the project
Fruta Feia CRL is a Portuguese cooperative founded in November 2013 that rescues 'ugly' fruits and vegetables from going to waste, distributing them weekly to over 12,970 members across 21 locations in Portugal. Since its launch, the cooperative has prevented more than 8,190 tonnes of food waste.
