CCMAR launches video contest on marine bioprospecting for teens

CCMAR, the Algarve's marine sciences centre, has launched an international storytelling contest inviting 15 to 18-year-olds to make short videos about marine bioprospecting, entries can be submitted until 15 November. Videos, lasting 30 seconds to five minutes, can be made solo or in teams of up to five, in various formats such as documentary or animation. The winning team, to be announced on 11 December, will receive audiovisual creation equipment. The contest is part of EUREMAP, an EU Horizon Europe-funded project, and aims to bring young people closer to marine research through science communication.
