Guimarães to host sustainability summit for firms and investors

The Planetiers World Gathering 2026 will take place in Guimarães from 21 to 23 October, marking its fifth edition and first time held in northern Portugal, as part of the city's programme as European Green Capital 2026. The agenda covers energy, water, food security, artificial intelligence, circular economy and textiles, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, institutions and international delegations. Speakers include representatives from Federated Hermes, WhatIF Foods, B Lab Global and the UAE Ministry of Investment. Organisers say the aim is to connect companies, startups and investors capable of moving projects from pilot stage into the market.
