Moeve opens Portugal's first ultra-fast truck chargers on a motorway, on the A2

Topicspublic rail transport

Moeve has brought into service its first ultra-fast electric charging points for heavy goods vehicles, at the Almodôvar service areas on the A2. Each delivers 600 kW, and they operate in both directions. The company says they are the first of their kind on a motorway corridor in Portugal. The two hubs offer 12 charge points in total: two for heavy vehicles and ten for cars and vans. Two similar hubs are due to open on the A1 at Leiria. With these openings Moeve will have 40 service stations with electric charging in Portugal, offering 71 charge points between them.
