Portimão clean-up planned for João d'Arens forest on 19 September

Teia D'Impulsos and Portimão's fire brigade are organising a clean-up of the Mata de João d'Arens on 19 September, from 9am to 10:30am. The event forms part of the Arade Azul environmental project and links the fire brigade's centenary celebrations to International Coastal Clean-up Day, promoted by the Fundação Oceano Azul. Open to the public, it aims to remove waste from the natural area and raise awareness of litter's impact on coastal ecosystems. Participation is free but requires prior registration via Teia D'Impulsos's social media pages.
