Vilamoura Marina and Algarve tourism board win cycling award

The 2026 National Cycling Mobility Award, given by the Portuguese Cycling and Bicycle Users Federation, named Marina de Vilamoura, Bikeland and António Rapoula as winners in the company category, while the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) won the public entity award. The ceremony took place in Lisbon, with the FPCUB and EMEL presidents attending. Created in 2006, the award recognises entities and individuals who have promoted cycling in Portugal. Other winners included Arraiolos's cycling group and Baronia's sports and cultural group in the associations category, and Transtejo/Soflusa and Lisbon's Transportes Metropolitanos leaders in the public entity category.
