Not every energy problem needs an inverter. A solar dryer, a rocket stove, a well-built wood range or an insulated box that finishes cooking a stew without fuel all solve real problems on a Portuguese smallholding, cost almost nothing and have nothing in them to fail.

WAKESEED works this side of the transition from Lisbon, combining agroecology, bioeconomy and practical education through workshops and retreats. The knowledge otherwise travels informally, from one project's build to the next.
