A seven-day intensive course (or five-day option) on designing and maintaining food forests in Mediterranean climates, held at the Orchard of Flavours in Tavira, Portugal. Topics include food tree selection, design, propagation, irrigation, pruning, pest management, and plant physiology, with a maximum of 18 participants.
About the project
Orchard of Flavours (Pomar dos Sabores) is a BGCI-accredited, non-profit edible botanical garden near Tavira, Algarve, dedicated to fruit trees and edible plants of warm climates. It offers guided tours, workshops, free online courses, and open-source research on climate-adapted food production.
