Green Giants Ambassadors Training (Penafiel)
One-day in-person training (approximately 7 hours), with theoretical and practical content on large trees, measurement techniques, identification of microhabitats and use of the mobile recording application. Limited places, with priority given to participants from the municipalities where the project is being implemented. Date to be confirmed. In partnership with ADERSOUSA, in the Terras do Sousa region.
About the project
VERDE is a Portuguese nature conservation association based in Lousada that protects old-growth trees, supports biodiversity, and offers carbon offsetting through tree preservation and planting. The association engages its growing community through volunteering, membership, outdoor activities, and ambassador training.
