Volunteering – Water Regeneration & Agroforestry Maintenance
In partnership with EcoAtivo, Ananda Kalyani is hosting a hands-on volunteering opportunity in August 2026 focused on water cycle regeneration and agroforestry system maintenance, including building beaver dams, organising biomass along contour lines, and helping create a regeneration plan. About the project
Ananda Kalyani is an intentional community and Master Unit located in the Serra da Estrela region of central Portugal, founded in 2010 across approximately 36 hectares. It integrates spiritual practice, ecological regeneration, and ethical community living into a coherent daily way of life.
