EcoFilveda International Work Camp Volunteer
Volunteers join the EcoFilveda international work camp, carrying out river and habitat restoration works along the Fílveda river and Ribeira de Fráguas, including invasive species removal, bank clearance, building shelters for bats, birds and saproxylic organisms, and other ecological restoration tasks, alongside cultural and community activities.
About the project
BioLiving is a Portuguese environmental NGO based in Albergaria-a-Velha, founded in 2016, working on ecological restoration, environmental education and scientific consultancy. It runs regular volunteering activities such as the Lusitanica micro-reserves programme in Canelas, Estarreja.
