Guardians for the CASA-ÁRVORE mini-forest
Volunteers ('guardians') are sought to accompany the creation of a mini-forest in public space from the first day, starting with a training session and continuing on weekends of 17-18 and 24-25 October preparing soil and planting the first species. No experience or plant knowledge required, just willingness to take part. Ongoing support from the CASA-ÁRVORE collective throughout the process.
About the project
Youth Coop is a non-profit cooperative of youth work professionals based in Agualva-Cacém, Sintra, running local and European projects on citizenship, sustainability and youth empowerment since 2018. It manages CircuLar, a circular economy community house, runs volunteering through the European Solidarity Corps and takes part in Erasmus+ youth exchanges.
