Águas do Douro e Paiva expands site visits with four more fire brigades

Águas do Douro e Paiva has continued its programme of guided visits to water supply infrastructure for regional fire brigades, this time including Areosa-Rio Tinto, Crestuma, Arouca and Rebordosa. Firefighters toured reservoirs, pumping stations and chlorination facilities to familiarise themselves with the sites and access routes, aiming to enable faster, safer emergency responses. Executive administrator Mariana Ferreira Macedo said prior knowledge of the facilities helps anticipate scenarios and coordinate with emergency crews. The company plans further visits with other fire brigades operating in its service area.
