AJAP holds Amarante briefing on Rural Innovation Challenges contest

AJAP held an information session in Amarante on 12 June about the Rural Innovation Challenges contest, which aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in rural areas. Attendees learned about the contest's goals, application process and available opportunities. The contest annually rewards 12 projects across four categories: Young Farmer, Young Rural Entrepreneur, Young Agro-Rural Talent and Rural Academy. Since late January, AJAP has run similar sessions across Portugal to encourage participation from young entrepreneurs, farmers, students and researchers. Applications remain open until 16 August.
