Alcoutim to present municipal climate action plan on 17 September

The Alcoutim municipal council will present its Municipal Climate Action Plan on 17 September at 10:30 in the Salão Nobre dos Paços do Concelho, in a session with local and regional entities. The plan aims to guide municipal action on climate mitigation and adaptation, focusing on sustainability, protecting natural resources and strengthening territorial resilience. The council highlights drought, extreme temperatures and rural fire as key risks facing the area, and wants cooperation between institutions, businesses and the community to define response measures.
