Algarve launches third round of free tourism training

Turismo do Algarve is launching the third edition of its Competências do Futuro Algarve programme, offering free, certified training for tourism professionals between October 2026 and May 2027. Run with Turismo de Portugal's hospitality schools, it combines online courses with in-person bootcamps covering artificial intelligence, digital transformation, leadership, marketing, sustainability and customer experience. Launched in 2024, the scheme aims to match training to businesses' evolving needs. Its first two editions delivered over 700 hours of training and 1,214 certificates. Registrations go through Turismo de Portugal's Academia Digital.
