Algarve municipalities launch public survey on new mobility plan

The Algarve Intermunicipal Community (AMAL) is developing the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the Algarve 2.0, an update to the region's 2020 mobility strategy, and has launched an anonymous online survey to gather public input. The plan aims to improve road safety, accessibility and inclusion, while encouraging sustainable transport modes to cut emissions, air pollution, noise and energy use. It will cover the whole Algarve region and align with national and European decarbonisation goals. Public consultation and participation activities will continue throughout the plan's drafting process, involving residents, municipalities, businesses and other stakeholders.
