Arouca's Paiva Walkways win Europe's top adventure attraction award again

The Paiva Walkways and the Arouca UNESCO Global Geopark have once more been named Europe's Leading Adventure Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards. Arouca council described the prize as recognition of the territory's distinctiveness and of its natural and cultural heritage, crediting everyone who works, invests, preserves and lives in the municipality. The council said it intends to keep taking Arouca further afield while holding on to its roots.
