Barão de São João hosts free three-day walking and art festival in November

The Barão de São João Walk & Art Fest runs from 6 to 8 November in the municipality of Lagos, combining guided walks, mountain-bike routes, art workshops, music, poetry, documentaries, wellbeing sessions and activities for children and families. All events are free but need advance registration, which opens on 14 October at 10:00, when the full programme will also be published. This year's shared art installation, themed "Peace & Love", will be spread around the village, with an opening tour led by the artists on 6 November. Lagos council and the Almargem association organise the event, part of the Algarve Walking Season.
