Braga launches European Mobility Week with intergenerational theme

Braga City Council presented the programme for European Mobility Week, running from 17 to 22 September under the theme "Intergenerational Equity". Officials João Luís Barros and Tiago Silva unveiled activities encouraging residents of all ages to try alternatives to cars, including cycling, public transport and walking. Highlights include a weekend closure of Praça do Município, an intergenerational sunset event, a dance evening, a night cycling ride from Arco da Porta Nova on Friday, and a charity walk on 18 September benefiting the Portuguese League Against Cancer.
