Câmara de Lobos hosts weekend 'Eco Mercado' with coastal clean-up

Câmara de Lobos municipality is holding the 'Eco Mercado' on 26 and 27 September at Largo da Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. The event opens on Saturday with a coastal clean-up at Praia do Vigário, marking International Coastal Clean-up Day, followed by a poncha workshop and folk music performances. Sunday continues with a traditional nikita workshop and further live music, closing on Sunday evening. The council is inviting residents and visitors to join the clean-up and take part in the two-day programme.
