Cidade do Zero sustainability festival returns to Lisbon in September

The Cidade do Zero sustainability festival returns to Lisbon's Parque Eduardo VII on 19-20 September for its fourth edition, after drawing around 25,000 visitors in 2024. Free to attend, the 2026 edition occupies 15,000 square metres, its largest area yet, and adds new features including a permaculture micro-farm with fruit trees, a vegetable garden, hens and composting. Visitors can join workshops, talks, repair sessions, cooking demonstrations and a swap market, with mobility a focus theme, offering free shared bikes and scooters through a partnership with GIRA and Lime. Most activities require no prior registration.
