Equator Company wins six new sustainability projects worth €8.5m

Since the start of the year, Portuguese consultancy The Equator Company has secured six new projects across Fiji, Mozambique, Portugal and a European Horizon Europe consortium, covering water, sanitation, wind energy, aviation, mining and food systems. Combined, the contracts total over €8.5 million, with clients including multilateral bodies, the European Commission and companies such as Boliden. The largest, FOODWISE, is a €5m-plus EU-funded consortium coordinating partners across six countries to close the gap between consumer environmental awareness and actual buying behaviour. Other projects include a sanitation masterplan in Fiji, sanitation rehabilitation in Beira, Mozambique, and climate transition work for NAV Portugal.
