Funchal schools host mobility events for European Mobility Week

The Funchal City Council brought two activities to local schools as part of European Mobility Week 2026. At Colégio de Santa Teresinha, younger pupils took part in a quiz on mobility knowledge hosted by Dr. Why. Later, students at Escola Gonçalves Zarco watched a play called 'Os super-heróis da mobilidade!', encouraging reflection on how they move around public spaces. Both initiatives aim to raise awareness among young people about responsible everyday mobility choices.
