Goparity to launch equity crowdfunding for startups after Spanish buyout
Portuguese sustainable finance platform Goparity, which has mobilised around 60 million euros for nearly 500 projects since 2017, is expanding beyond debt-based crowdfunding into equity investment. Following its 2025 acquisition of Spanish platform Bolsa Social, Goparity plans to join funding rounds of 300,000 to one million euros, typically taking tickets of 75,000 to 300,000 euros for around 20% of a round. The move, announced at the Oeiras Bluetech Ocean Forum, introduces strict eligibility criteria for startups and positions Goparity as a hybrid investor offering both debt and equity financing.
