Lagoa to host evening event on moths, 18 September

The municipality of Lagoa, in partnership with the Associação A Rocha, is organising an environmental awareness activity dedicated to moths on 18 September, from 9pm to 11pm, at the Parque Municipal do Sítio das Fontes in Estômbar. The event aims to explain moths' role in ecosystem balance and food security, and to counter negative perceptions often attached to them. It is free but requires registration by email, is open to people over 16, and is limited to the first 12 sign-ups.
