Lagos festival mixes sustainability and arts around multiculturalism theme

The Emraizart Festival returns to Cotifo, in Lagos, for a sixth edition from 6 to 13 October, this year focused on multiculturalism. Organised by the Teatro Experimental de Lagos, it blends sustainability, nature and art, mixing tradition with contemporary creation. Weekdays bring shows and workshops on circus, creative construction, permaculture and theatre for schools and social projects, while 10-11 October opens to families with training sessions, talks, music, circus and physical theatre performances, plus concerts by Sambambas. The programme also features three creative works from TEL artistic residencies under the Bora Cultura scheme. Daily tickets cost 12 euros for adults and seven for children aged three to 12.
