Loulé kindergarten teacher's book on outdoor play to be launched in Boliqueime

Maria João Dias, a nursery teacher in the municipality of Loulé, will present her book on outdoor play and contact with nature as the basis of early learning. The launch is on 13 November at 18:00 in the Lídia Jorge school library in Boliqueime. The book draws on three years of work at the Patã de Cima kindergarten, where mud kitchens, a vegetable garden, a henhouse and a sensory garden served as learning spaces. It links these experiences to language, thinking and problem-solving. The first print run is 300 copies, supported by Loulé council, Boliqueime parish council and the local school cluster.
