PortoBay's Portuguese hotels all retain Green Key certification

All PortoBay hotels in Portugal, spanning Madeira, the Algarve, Lisbon and Porto, have again received the international Green Key award for sustainable practices and responsible resource management. The certification, run by the Foundation for Environmental Education and coordinated locally by ABAE, follows an application, document review and on-site audit assessing energy efficiency, water management, waste reduction and social responsibility. PortoBay CEO Cláudio Santos said the renewal confirms the consistency of the group's long-term sustainability work across investments and daily operations.
