Portugal's public EV charging network passes one million charging sessions in a single month
Portugal's public charging network linked to MOBI.E recorded more than one million charging sessions in September, 33% up on a year earlier. Energy delivered topped 24,000 MWh, a 40% rise, while distinct users passed 250,000, up 91%. The network ended the month with 8,374 charging stations and about 16,300 charging points, and over 3,300 stations, roughly 40%, offered fast or ultra-fast charging. MOBI.E estimates the month's sessions avoided more than 19,000 tonnes of CO₂, and over 160,000 tonnes from January to September.
