Rewilding business network in Côa Valley grows to 64 firms

Rewilding Portugal's Rede Côa Selvagem, a network of 64 businesses across eleven municipalities in the Grande Vale do Côa region, reported strong growth in 2025 based on its third annual impact survey. The network welcomed over 85,000 visitors, with revenue generated directly through it rising 138% compared to 2024. Members employ 168 full-time workers, and 94.3% believe their business will still be active in five years, a figure that drops to 48.1% without the network. Collaboration and training were highlighted as key drivers, alongside growing adoption of sustainable practices among members.
