Rewilding Portugal opens second guesthouse near Côa Valley

Rewilding Portugal will open Casa do Brigadeiro, a six-room guesthouse in Miuzela, Almeida, on 1 September. It is the organisation's second accommodation unit after the Rewilding Centre in Vale de Madeira, Pinhel. The historic family house remains privately owned but has been restored to host visitors, with profits directed to nature conservation and heritage restoration in the Côa Valley. Guests will be close to rewilding areas Vale Carapito and Paul de Toirões, with local partners providing guided tours and breakfast. Bookings are available via Booking.com and Airbnb.
