Second-hand clothing market returns to Leiria on Saturday

The second edition of the Mercado Rota Verde takes place this Saturday, 5th, in Leiria, on Via Polis next to the Mercado Municipal, from 10am to 7pm. Visitors will find second-hand clothing, footwear, jewellery and accessories, including branded items, at affordable prices. Organiser Cristina Pelicano says the project aims to raise awareness about overconsumption and encourage reuse and more conscious, sustainable buying habits. The Rota Verde has already run in cities such as Figueira da Foz and Aveiro, and further editions are planned in Pombal, Coimbra and Viseu.
