Setúbal marks 50th anniversary of Arrábida Natural Park

Setúbal City Council and the ICNF are holding a commemorative forum on 28 June marking 50 years of the Arrábida Natural Park, at the Setúbal Museum/Convento de Jesus. The event includes an institutional session with mayors from Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra, the Secretary of State for the Environment, a speech by Viriato Soromenho Marques, the launch of a commemorative honour book, and cultural performances. It is the highlight of a wider July programme of free family activities across Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra, including guided walks, nature workshops and biodiversity activities in the park.
