Setúbal offers young people up to €5,000 for climate projects

Setúbal's city council has joined the Youth Climate Action Fund, an international programme funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, to support climate action projects designed and led by young people aged 15 to 24. The municipality will receive $50,000 (about €43,400) to fund up to eight projects, with individual grants ranging from €1,000 to €5,000. Applications are open to youth associations, non-profits, schools and organisations working in youth, environment, education or community development, and proposals will be assessed on innovation, community impact and alignment with the local climate action plan. A public session will present the open call before applications are reviewed.
