Setúbal Peninsula water resilience study to be presented 1 October
To mark National Water Day, Setúbal City Council and Águas de Portugal will publicly present the study "Setúbal Peninsula – Water Resilience" on 1 October at Cinema Charlot. The study, developed collaboratively with municipalities, public bodies, water utilities, scientists and users, examines the region's heavy reliance on the Tagus-Sado Basin left-bank aquifer system. It aims to build a knowledge base to guide future decisions on water use amid climate change, population growth and economic development pressures. The open session will bring together institutional representatives and specialists to discuss challenges and opportunities for sustainable water management in the region.
