Setúbal Polytechnic to host international port sustainability conference

The Setúbal Polytechnic Institute (IPS) will host the NEXUS International Conference – DGTMP 2026 on 24-25 June, focused on digital and green transition in maritime ports. The event is organised jointly by IPS and the Sines and Algarve Ports Administration, with partner universities from Évora, Coimbra and Aveiro, under the NEXUS Mobilising Agenda funded by Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan. Around 40 partner entities are involved in the innovation consortium, which aims to accelerate knowledge-sharing on green and digital transition in logistics and transport. The two-day programme will cover cybersecurity, unmanned vehicles, AI applied to logistics, terminal automation and energy efficiency.
