Ana Teresa Matos

Ana Teresa Matos is a biologist and co-founder of Reserva do Vale Velho, a nature and cultural heritage recovery project in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Her passion for nature began in childhood, during spring outings to the Serra da Estrela with her biologist parents. She holds a degree in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a master's in Forestry Engineering from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, along with postgraduate studies in Ecology and Environmental Management, Botany, and a Permaculture Design Certificate course.
