António Monteiro

António Monteiro is the President of the Board of Directors of Faia Brava, an environmental non-governmental organization dedicated to nature conservation and ecological restoration in the Côa Valley. Under his recent leadership, the association has continued its mission of creating spaces for nature and managing Portugal's first private protected area. He oversees projects focused on biodiversity conservation, forest recovery, and species protection, including initiatives for Iberian wolf and black vulture populations.
