Jack Golds

Jack Golds is the founding force behind Pro Nativa, an initiative born from a group of friends in the Aljezur area dedicated to protecting and expanding the unique native forests of southwest Portugal. He brought the project into the Cooperativa da Terra, where it now operates across the municipalities of Aljezur, Monchique and Odemira. Under his leadership, the Pro Nativa team focuses on rewilding, habitat management, ecological restoration and nature-based forestry, converting abandoned forest monocultures into native woodland.
