DIY skills and guides in Portugal
This focus is practical: projects that publish how they did it, or teach you to do it yourself, instead of selling you the finished thing. Earth plaster, biochar kilns, grafting, solar wiring, dry-stone walls.
Carbon Conscious Creations makes biochar in the Algarve and explains the process. The Women's Natural Building Collective builds and teaches out of São Luís. Quinta Kania and Keela Permaculture Farm both run their smallholdings as demonstration sites, and Orchard of Flavours near Tavira documents the fruit varieties that survive here.
