Food Tree Academy
A week-long series of workshops on subtropical food trees, food forests, pruning, irrigation, propagation, pests, and plant physiology, held Oct 3-9 at the Orchard of Flavours in Luz de Tavira, Algarve. Participants can attend single sessions or the full course, with tastings and a shared lunch included.
About the project
Orchard of Flavours (Pomar dos Sabores) is a BGCI-accredited, non-profit edible botanical garden near Tavira, Algarve, dedicated to fruit trees and edible plants of warm climates. It offers guided tours, workshops, free online courses, and open-source research on climate-adapted food production.
